Auto-Generated ID Fields

Beginning this weekend and throughout next week, we will be updating both PatTrac and TranTrac installations to change how the auto-generated number in various transactions are created. Generated IDs will no longer include prefixes, such as CL-, BR-, IZ-, VR-.

It will be very important that users install the updates when they are prompted. They will not receive the update prompt if they are currently using PatTrac. As a general rule, users should always close PatTrac at the end of their day.
